For many owners, selecting their racing colours is one of the most exciting parts of the ownership experience.
Here you can register the set of colours your jockey will carry on your horse. To help ensure you choose the perfect set of colours, there are three options available: standard colours, bespoke colours or vintage colours.
Standard Colours
The below tool allows you to choose, check for availability and register a standard set of racing colours.
There are 18 colours to choose from, but you can have any of these colours in any of the body, sleeve and cap designs listed below.
Bespoke Colours
Alternatively you can design your own colours from scratch which are not required to conform to all of the usual restrictions. Successful applicants will be offered the right to register the colours for a fee of £5,000 (+ VAT). Some examples of already registered bespoke colours are below.

Vintage Colours
To make it easier for owners who are keen to sell the right to register their colours, the BHA has introduced a new facility where you can advertise your silks for prospective owners to purchase. All vintage silks have been registered for over five years and if you are interested in buying a set listed below simply click Purchase Colours, add your details and then click send.
